The Student Charter brings together the most important rights and obligations of students. This concerns both rights and obligations from all manner of legislation and regulations that Hanze University of Applied Sciences has established itself.

What is the Student Charter?

Various rights and obligations arise from your registration as a student at Hanze. Think of tuition fees, the quality of education, study guidance, the examination regulations, student services, rules of conduct, personal registrations and misconduct.

You can apply for legal protection against certain decisions that are made about you from the Student Appeals Board. You can read all about it in chapter 11 of the Student Charter.

The provisions of the Student Charter apply to all students. Exceptions to this rule are indicated in the provisions themselves. If a different regulation applies to a programme on the basis of the Student Charter, this deviating regulation will be included in the Education Regulations of the programme. You can find the Education Regulations of your programme on your programme's website on Blackboard.
